Should be called agenda360, agendas from every angle lol
The agenda on 360 has gone backwards as well. Each episode used to be loaded with different stories but now it’s pretty much a few stories with the journos opinions at the start followed by asking the players about their opinions on the same stories followed by asking either Cooper Cronk or the ex legends for their opinions on the same stories!

If you wanna watch it just watch the first 10-15 mins and then switch off

Ciraldo should be given more time, like after round 2 next year if the bulldogs still suck then fire him

if the bulldogs go ok after round 2 then check again in round 3 or 4 etc
Round 2..... so we will be folding in another 6 to 8 new players into our Top 30 squad and choosing a top team and you give him 2 rounds. Hahahahahaha. He's signed a 5 year deal. Barrett had a 3 year deal and was 1.5 seasons into that and we paid him out fully.
So your suggesting we pay out best part of 3.9 seasons to CC and sack him early next year if we don't start well. What if our first 2 games next year are Penrith and Warriors in NZ? Problem is Gould continually saying it's a tough task to turn us around and can't see results for 4 years. The negativity gives coaches and players an excuse and THATS what's hurting us and stopping us establishing a standard. The players lack of confidence in the squad.

if our first 2 games are against penrith and warriors and we lose 48-0 and 44-6 then fire him, if we lose 30-10 and 23-22 then he gets a bonus round 3

and for your information it won't be giving him 2 rounds, it would be giving him 26 rounds and 2 entire pre seasons

gould said it would be a tough task to turn brisbane around and they did it inside of 3 seasons, so gould doesnt know everything, only god and einstein knew everything

Webster has a dominant/experienced half in Johnson and a alpha front rower in fonua-blake...
A big plus, especially for a rookie coach.
We have neither...

We look totally clueless with no on field direction or leadership, which isn't helping Ciraldo...
Easy to counter this.

One hand you have Johnson and Fonua-Blake

Other hand you had Burton and close to the best alpha 2nd rower coming off back to back titles.

If you offered those 2 scenarios up to dogs fans going into pre season I'm sure most would have taken what we've ended up with.

Johnson was looking past it last year.

Cc is nothing like the master coach he's said to be. I think he's another Barrett or maybe worse

Stop comparing Ciraldo to Webster. Their roster is so far superior to ours it’s not even funny.
DWZ and Montoya were woeful at the dogs. The kennel were laughing at the prospect of signing nicoll klokstad last year. They started the year without Egan, they have changed 5/8s numerous times before settling with Metcalf who has little first grade experience…. It’s pretty amazing what Webster has achieved in comparison to Ciraldo

I’ll admit he’s done a good job. But the five eight solution, does wonders when SJ is in career best form. They have the best prop in AFB. You always knew DWZ was going to kill it. And CNK. He’s killing it because he’s the same as SJ. He’s been away from his family while at Canberra, he’s back home with family and loving it. They’re forward pack and halves shit all over ours.

Exactly, their roster only looks good because they are winning. It’s quite clear CC can’t coach

Tallis is just trying to be relevant on a TV program … anyone worth their salt can see comparing the team Webster has to what Ciraldo has is chalk and cheese ..

Swap coaches between both teams and chances are the results are the same .. put AFB and Johnson in the Doggies squad and Sutton and Flanagan in the Warriors squad and results are prob reversed ..

Look at the forward pack he has to work with compared to ours.

Afb
Afoa
Sironen
Tavaga
Curren
Barnett
Harris, etc

And look at our forwards.
Rfm - less said the better
King - playing injured
Tpj - useless now goneski
Thompson - injured for majority of his contract
Kikau - missed most of the year
Sutton
Waddell
Edward's - 14 games in a terrible side
Hughes - played 5 games
Morrin - 14 games total
Topine - 16 games total

If cc had that those forwards compared to ours we'd be much higher up on the ladder imo

Einstein didn't know everything........ Nicola Tesla attested to that.

Do you think it may have something to do with their coaching mindset? Webster probably went to the Warriors saw what he had to work with and coached accordingly. Whereas Ciraldo made the same mistake as Barrett, brought his magic "Penriff" clipboard with him and has tried to change the team accordingly. I will stress again "we are not penriff and never will be". CC needs to chuck his clipboard with the you-beaut pamfer defensive tactics in the bin and coach to who he has available...... the penriff model bought Barrett undone and is unravelling Ciraldo. He needs to wisen up before it's too late.

If they feel bad and cared enough then they wouldn't continually play like sh!t..... they'd at least have a go.
I know, lafam. I was responding to another comment in bemusement.

Been preaching the same brother … I believe this is the exact root of all our problems … trying to turn us into Penrith for the 2nd time (Penrithitis) … proof of the pudding was how they played after Barrett was axed … may not have been perfect but they were scoring points and playing good attacking footy and won some good games … CC should have just come in and improved on that …

Whatever structures CC’s selling, it’s not working, if he’s to stubborn to change and they continue to not buy in … he’ll be the next coach to fall and I’m not seeing any good replacements .. maybe JH if he’s willing and had the 1st grade clause put in …

How should it be handled then?
One on one;
Coach to player
Player to player
Coach to player's manager

One to many;
Coach to playing group

But never in the media, that's a guaranteed recipe for disaster.

Cc has absolutely cooked the playing group in pre season and throughout the season. It's called Over Training Syndrome.

Question is whether he can learn from his mistakes and make sure same thing doesn't happen next year.
