But is the booing only happening bc he is indigenous tho? Don't know whats caused it.
He is almost the AFL version of Latrell in that he plays the game pretty dirty as far as foul play towards opposition goes but usually gets off without punishment so IMO that is why he cops some booing.
Both the NRL and AFL love to grandstand about Indigenous players copping what they see as unwarranted booing but IMO these 2 codes bring this issue on themselves and these protected species players, if they just judged their borderline onfield actions as harshly as they judged the average Joe Blow footy player for identical actions then the crowds wouldn't be so harsh towards these players.

Tbh, warriors have copped it bad from the refs for years
So have the Cowboys who were nowhere near protected even when Thursty was running the show and would more often than not get the talk to the hand treatment from most referees.

We Cowboys supporters know when the rig is on and can see all the bullshit from a million miles away.

Saw on the news there's a whole raft of indigenous players coping it in AFL atm.

The Fatrell incident with Harry Grant just highlighted the bias to certain players and clubs, Fatrell elbows grant in the head while he’s on the ground…… nothing not even on report for forceful contact with the head yet we’ve seen other players binned for grazing an opponents face with an open hand, Fatrell had the shits because grant hit him too hard the whole thing is a fucking joke, if souffs win the premiership this year the NRL can get fucked I am over it.

Don’t you guys hate it when nearly all the Fox sports commentators stroke Fatrell’s ego among other certain players

Saw this:

"The game has always been popular in this country because it was simple and made for the blue collar worker.

The game has become to complex which then requires greater interpretation but also allows for easier manipulation with the common argument that the decision could go either way.

The problem with that argument is if they were genuinely 50/50 calls the same team wouldn’t get the lion share of them throughout any given match. Just like the bounce of the ball doesn’t always go in the same direction. Hence the unpredictability of an oval shaped ball.

The simpler the game is the harder it is to manipulate. It’s really as simple as that, the fact that year after year the NRL keep over complicating the game leads most to believe that at least some matches and results are rigged whether it’s the final result or spot parts of the result.

Another proven fact whenever gambling is involved. The house always wins!"

Like I say every year and their bullshit rule changes....

Purposely created grey areas to make it easier to manipulate results.

That's most likely the main reason behind the NRL not being willing to allow the bunker to rule on forward passes. If the ref and touch judges can't see passes that go 3 or 4 metres forward then people are within their rights to question the integrity of officials.

I'm no fan of the NRL but, before they let the bunker adjudicate on forward passes, they need to change the rules so that the forward movement of the player is no longer a factor. If someone like JAC is running at full tilt and passes to his side and slightly behind him (a legimitate pass), when he lets the ball go, it is traveling forward at the same speed as he is. The ball could travel 5 metres forward and the pass would still be legal under current rules, although it would appear anything but legal to spectators.
