What we really need is a new age style coach like Trent Robinson or Adam O’Brien at Newcastle, they are out there but we just need to do some critical thinking when it comes to finding our version of these two coaches and fuck the rest of them!

1 - A head of football. Gould or Hagan or sheens.
2 - A head coach. Flanno or Barrett or Griffin.
3 - A pathways coach. Never allow a head coach control the future when they are only interested in winning at all costs.

When Des left, only coaches who wanted this job was Dymock and Pay. Other big name coaches like Maguire enquired about position but when they saw the books, they ran for the hills as they new our salary cap was fucked. We had no real choice of quality coaches.

Now would be a diff story, sack Pay, advertise positions and let the coaches come to us. Now we have a big war chest, some great juniors coming through. That way we have the pick of the bunch and not 2 very desperate coaches in Dymock/Pay.

Gould can come on now as an "advisor" helping with the 2021 War Chest spend and punt pay and then take on the role of coach. Pay walks straight into newly vacant Dragons spot as McGregor moves to the English Saints as he feels undermined by Flanagan.
Holbrook to be courted during 2021with Mal to crack it and decide he will allow Holbrook to take an early release as he wants Walter's to coach the Titans after losing another Origin series.
Gould to move to head of football when Holbrook arrives mid season 2021...
