Nah. Strawman is when you attack an argument that no one made. As in, you're building a strawman so you can cut it down.

Example:

Say you're debating with someone about God. The other person says, "the problem with Catholics is that you believe that God is actually a metaphor. Which proves that Catholics don't know the bible"

In this example the person created a false argument or false belief about the other person (Catholics believe this) and attacked it.

Another example is climate change starting bushfires. If you say "it's stupid that you believe that climate change started bushfires" then the response is "yes that is stupid because it's not what I believe at all"
