You don't have to spray players to be a great coach, proof is Ivan Cleary. Very calm and level headed coach. Players need a spray every so often but it loses any meaning if it happens too often.

Cleary doesn't need spray them. Even when they are "bad" they are still better than most teams.

If Oki is the kind of forward that CC publicly praises then we need to be prepared for many more years of ineptitude.

Yes it's very worrying and if he is saying those kind of foolish statements in his presser, then I guess we have to be prepared to face the fact that CC will ask Gus to re-sign him.

To be honest it's hard to take Ciraldo seriously when he plays Okunbur as often as he has and praises him when he's one of the worst culprits in defence all season. Also the way he singles out some and not others. If he wants to single out TPJ because he's leaving, well single out Reed, Burton and Kikau etc too..

Either say collectively we were horrible and not good enough and hammer them or single them all out. Or say nothing. Don't say our goal line defence was strong or this player was shocking but I won't talk about the other players who were also.

This type of stuff over a full season loses the dressing room because they've lost faith and trust in the coach.
