Guys I want to go to the next level and start smoking.

Any tips on a cheap, entry level smoker that will still do the job?

if you want cheap get a Weber kettle it’s an art form but once you get the hang of it you’ll be able to smoke on anything. Watch heaps of YouTube and take pointers from them and do what works for you.

I’m building a new house which means I’m getting and building an outdoor kitchen, Ive got my eye on a big Kamado Joe

I am still loving the weber kettles
Great starting point.
I haven't progressed any further after 5 years of smoking.
Kinda learnt how to do what I need it to do so haven't bothered moving on to bigger and better things.
And I'm a tight arse haha

That's it mate
All you need.
Nice. I've got one in the shed, haven't used it for probably 10 years or more. Might have to bust it out and have a go at smoking something. I'm sure there's a bit of a knack to smoking in them though.

Low and slow isn't that hard.
Heaps of YouTube videos to help you get started.
I'm happy to help also
I'd you want to try it out let me know what you want to cook and I'll guide you through it.

Once you get started, you will find it addictive
