We need a fit and firing RFM now and next year.Should have another good 3 seasons(70+ games)left in him not that we will sign him for that long, Gus can work out the $$ and term, he should be loyal to us also.

Just realized that RFM and Jackson are the only two remaining players to have played under Des, with RFM being the last Hasler signing.
Yep & that time up until Potter will be known as the dark ages. Yeah we got to the GFs in 2012 & 2014, but he commenced the destruction of the club the day he began work at Belmore.

Lol it’s not that simple
How isn't it? Essentially a 1 year deal with another year option in the club's favour... If he gets a bad injury in 2023 it's bye bye for 2024.

Don’t be surprised if the Warriors come knocking with a big offer...they are getting desperate for quality players

If they do let him go. He’s got ability but years he’s hurt us off field. Not prepared to gamble again sorry. If he stays loyal like he sounds (second home etc) and after all we done I’d be happy to see him stay at that 300kish range. Or heavily games played clause.

If Warriors take RFM, just take Eli Katoa off them and teach the kid how to tackle.

Imagine Eli katoa leaving the warriors and turning into another Papalii.
I'd take Curran from warriors though
Could happen lol. Letting Curran go was a massive blunder by the Roosters.

Positives on this future deal outweigh the negatives featured by some peeps in the thread.
The Man has heart and talent with strong values and love the community spirit and leadership he offers our pups.. $$ are going to be last thing to worry about and Gus has already stated he was happy with the meeting. Trust that means we're in agreement and the future is a bright one for all concerned.. Well done Uce..
Great result Gus and Bulldogs were looking better each week as the team starts shaping up for the years ahead with real promise.

RFM is playing some great football
and I don't think it is a concidence that our team has improved so much since he has returned from injury. Hope we re-sign him soon. Besides his playing strengths, he has great leadership qualities and is an asset to the team. You can tell he loves the club too. I would even consider him for captain. Jackson in the pressers looks upset when the media mentions how much better we are since Baz left. Fkn sooky clown. Clearly we have more second phase and are playing more expansive and this idiot gets all defensive when asked...fck Baz and give Potter some credit
