It was the fact that they were trans. That's what the backlash was about.

For example, the Christian Post did a big hit piece on it claiming that they were trying to trans up kids. This was the worst image they could come up with.

Personally I wouldn't watch a gay sex scene because I find it disgusting. That just means that I'm straight. Doesn't mean I'm against gay people.

A lot of these kind of things are about teaching acceptance. To teach kids that some people are different. Ultra Conservatives try to tell you that they're trying to turn the kids gay. Doesn't work that way.

The way I see it, what you are and believe is right and everyone different is wrong, otherwise you wouldn't be/do what you are/do.

I really don't care if gays find straights disgusting.

PS I got labelled a "homophobe" because I stopped 2 gay guys over the top kissing while waiting in a line to get into a club I was bouncing at... FFS I don't want to see straight couples do that shit in a line and have stopped them before.

That's what our job as parents is for, one of our jobs is to teach acceptance to our children. But you don't teach them acceptance wearing that shit in their faces.
