He can be good just needs to work on his smarts is all, his mistakes are very very silly ones.
These are all his suspensions...
Round 13: grade-three careless high tackle on Manly's Marty Taupau
Round 10: grade-one dangerous contact on Cronulla's Blayke Brailey
Round 22, 2018: grade-one careless high tackle on Gold Coast's AJ Brimson
Round 12, 2018: grade-one dangerous high contact on St George Illawarra's Paul Vaughan
Round 9, 2018: grade-one dangerous contact head/neck on Cowboy Shaun Fensom

This is without a doubt his biggest issue and any charge in the future will see him miss multiple weeks.

See unlike Napa I don't see this as a signing we cap his aggression and then he has nothing to offer, he has a good offload very quick with late step and lots of energy all of which aren't aggression based in a sense but his defence is hit and miss literally.

I hope Barret can get him under control because he does look like a bit of a nutter lol.

Still happy with the signing.

Hoping for the best. But he is going to need to improve. Here are relevant stats this season:

Just a touch over 6 hours on field time in 8 games. Average 45 minutes a game.
Tackles 158, missed 17, 10.8% missed percentage. About 1 tackle every 2.3 minutes he is on the field.
Runs 61, metres 562, 9.2m average. 8 offloads, 6 tackle breaks, 1 line break. About 1 run every 6 minutes he is on the field.
5 errors, 5 penalties, 1 sin bin.

For comparison, here is Thommo, who as we know had some quiet games for a month or so.
Almost 9 hours on field time in 10 games. Average 53.5 minutes a game.
Tackles 293, missed 21, 7.2% missed percentage. About 1 tackle every 1.8 minutes he is on the field.
Runs 124, metres 1089, 8.8m average. 6 offloads, 5 tackle breaks, 2 line breaks. About 1 run every 4.3 minutes he is on the field.
3 errors, 4 penalties, 0 sin bin.

He and Thompson would have to be two of the fastest props in the game. Some keep banging on we need big boys but I think these two along with Ogden and Renouf and we have a good competetive front row rotation.
I agree completely. Chuck in Jacko, RFM (most improved in the team undoubtedly) and Elliott pretty solid backrow. If we can offload Napa that would free up some cash to invest in a quality hooker.

I understand why you compared them but Thommo's experience is far and beyond Hetherington's, I wouldn't worry too much I doubt Barrett would sign someone he wouldn't think improve under him, and it obvious Hetherington knows why he's not getting a real crack and will be willing to do whatever to his game to get game-time.
