Bankrupt property developer Salim Mehajer is hauled before the courts AGAIN just days after throwing a lavish birthday bash for his glamorous blonde girlfriend
He spent his weekend throwing an extravagant yacht party for his Instagram star girlfriend.
But disgraced businessman Salim Mehajer found himself back on solid ground on Tuesday, as he was yet again hauled before courts.
The bankrupt property developer, 33, is facing 50 criminal charges, and is currently on both bail and parole.
He appeared at Burwood Local Court to face three of a litany of alleged crimes, having only left prison in May.
The embattled businessman pleaded not guilty to the three charges, all of which were driving offences, according to
news.com.
It comes just days after he threw the lavish bash for his girlfriend Melissa Tysoe's 30th birthday, and was pictured with what appeared to be a shotgun.
The photograph showed Mehajer and two mates pointing the weapons over the side of the boat and towards the camera.
Police are investigating the photo, and it is not known if the guns were real or replica.
NSW Police said it was 'aware of the photo and is conducting inquiries' but did not say what effect it might have Mehajer's bail or parole.
The birthday bash was held during the day as Mehajer had to be back home in Lidcombe to abide by his curfew as part of bail conditions.
It certainly isn't the last time the former deputy mayor of Auburn will face a court this week.
On Wednesday, three charges of acting with intent to pervert the course of justice are listed for mention in the Parramatta District Court.
He also faces two counts of possessing a prohibited drug, one of supplying a prohibited drug, negligent driving, and requesting or making a false call for an ambulance.
But he was all smiles as he posed in a flash suit alongside his on-again off-again partner of two years over the weekend.
Birthday girl Ms Tysoe made several wardrobe changes over the multi-day event, rotating figure-hugging yellow, white, and pink dresses.
Pink, yellow, white, and purple roses were pressed into the shape of her nickname 'Missy' against the back of the boat, along with multiple floral arches and hearts.
Across the top of the boat were dozens of similarly-coloured balloons, and food inside included tiny ice cream cones, chocolates, and several decadent birthday cakes.
Fireworks in the distance capped off the evening - long after Mehajer had to rush home to make his curfew.
Ms Tysoe gushed about her boyfriend in a photo she posted to Instagram of the couple gazing into each other's eyes, calling it 'the look of love'.
The Central Coast marketing worker said last year the couple had not yet slept together as they were waiting to have an 'Islamic marriage'.
She said her mother was worried Mehajer would be assassinated and claimed his infamous Lidcombe mansion was robbed twice in six months while she was there.
Ms Tysoe made a gushing tribute to her boyfriend on his own birthday in June, recalling how they met at a New Year's Eve party.
'I believe everything happens for a reason and every moment in our lives led us to be in the same place at the same time that fateful night,' she said.
Much of their relationship was while Mehajer was in jail for electoral fraud and since May he has been out on both bail and parole.
He wasn't even able to post his own photos of Ms Tysoe's birthday as he is banned from using social media as part of his bail.
He is accused of faking a car crash to avoid a court date, along with several other alleged incidents amounting to 50 outstanding charges.
Mehajer was declared bankrupt last year and an audit later revealed he owed creditors more than $24 million.
He has multiple times tried to convince a court to annul his bankruptcy, claiming his developments would pay off, but with no success.
