if all I had to think about was 'me' then Fuck yeah I'd go chase the money but when others are relying on me to stay in the area AND I have a contract then no I wouldn't go.so if you are on 100ks/ year in your current workplace, working there for last 7 years , working your arse off and being the employee of the year every single year . So basically you have earned every single penny you were paid.
Now you are telling me that another company offers you 200ks for doing the same job and offer you same conditions and you will not leave your current employer just because you do not "worship" money.
rrrright!
For example I live in Sydney not because I love paying triple the mortgage for the same house outside Sydney but because my family are here , my kids don't want to leave their friends ,schools and lifestyle.
After I got retrenched from Qantas, I got a job offer for 10 grand a year more at IBM in Cumberland forest which meant I'd have to disrupt my family so I didn't take it.
When I had small babies I got offered a 12 month contract working on a specialised (now obsolete) programming automation language in Melbourne for $75 an hour, this was more than 10 years ago but I knocked it back because I had a commitment to my family so Fuck no.. I don't worship money over commitment
Klemmer has a contract with the bulldogs and whether he likes to acknowledge or not it's with the fans too. As far as I'm concerned it's a selfish act from him unless of course there was something serious going down at the club that we don't know about
