Canterbury Bulldogs forward Adam Elliott has stuck up for his side's attack after they were kept scoreless in the 6-0 loss to the Sydney Roosters

"You can have a go at our attack but we had a game plan and stuck with it./[/URL]
This to me is the biggest worry.

The inability to adjust a game plan that isn’t working.

Good coaches and players can realise when something is not working and change it.

To be honest I don’t think our problems are that hard to fix. But you cannot fix something unless you believe there’s a problem to start with.

It sounds like Pay and Co. believe if they keep working at it they will have some luck go there way.

Changes to both the team and mindset need to change.

1. MBYE- Needs to run off Woods & RFM
2. BMOZ
3. Olive (Left Centre)
4. JMOZ (Right Centre)
5. Hopoate
6. Lewis
7. Foran - take control play both sides
8. Woods- Starting to play well. Needs Support
9. JMK
10. Klemmer - needs to find an offload
11. Fine
12. RFM
13. Jackson

14. Brown/Lichaa
15. Eastwood
16. Fualalo - needs to run harder & improve his hands.
17. Toomaga/Ogden

Literally lol’Ed reading the headline.

Didn’t get to watch the game last night and glad I didn’t. Can’t believe I’m saying this but bring Frawley or Cleveland in and move JMK to the bench to interchange for Lichaa or cover the backline.

Sounds like the forwards are mostly getting the job done, just need to give some help to Foran

Can someone explain to Adam that if your score stays at nil..
You can't win the game.

What worried me was that everyone could see that the rooster's wingers were rushing off their line and our playmakers didn't kick over the top to our wingers, seems like Pay didn't talk about it at the break either :/

Nothing said on this article is incorrect.

It takes time, we are improving, the effort is there.

You’re all disproportionately outraged tbh. Plenty of pluses to take from last night.

Elliott and Pay’s comments are more accurate than the alarmist nonsense flowing freely in the kennel.

Elliot is praising out attack , how is that not nonsense.

You want say that the batting wasn't the issue if a cricket team gets out for under 50 runs.

Build pressure - fine,
strangle defensively - fine,
play possession attrition - fine, but if you get gift 2 pointers - you NEED to take them, especially when the attack isn't clicking

Delete this comment or Pay and Elliot will use it after our next loss.

"I don't think many teams would've held us out to zero when we threw so much at them," Elliott told NRL.com after the game.

Yes not many only another 15 teams would have held us to nil.

That’s a ignorant (trying to be defiant) comment from Elliott particularly when his skipper said in the presser ‘our defence has improved over past couple weeks but we need to work on execution on attack’
