Worth a shot?
Could he play front row?
115kgs, 186cm
Panthers obviously see it possible to replace FH
Not many marquee front rowers avail

Regards,
Waterboy
Great idea !
Is it possible ?

He would be great, but I just don't think we need him.

We have Kikau, Preston, Salmon, Curran, Mann, Kautoga, Todd, Samrani, Oloapu (who can play lock) and others.

Plus, he would be wasted in the front row. He's most damaging on the edges.

But he has been dangerous for the Titans the last few weeks.
He's big and mobile like Taumalolo, he can handle the middle easily. I've seen him run over middle forwards easily.

Contract year effort?

I would love a little perseverance to risk and try and transition Skelton into that dynamic forward role.
CC is credited as a defensive guru so perhaps he can upscale Skelton's game in that department.
He could be better than Fifita...if given the training and confidence.

I think he's signed long term but has a get-out clause in his contract.
Just pondering whether he has started putting a big playing effort in as his get-out clause approaches, in readiness for the feeding frenzy :grinning:

Can't see that Titans have had that much value out of him for the top dollar they paid him.

Good player but been inconsistent up till recently :grinning:

PS. Really enjoyed your podcast. First time I've checked it out but very informative, topical and got answers in a conversational way without being confrontational or aggressive as we see so often with league media. Will be tuning in from now on :grinning:

No chance. A focussed Fafita is the most destructive forward in the game.
IF brother…..If because he hardly ever is focused.
Imagine what bloody TPJ could do if he focussed, along with many Apes that are built Tarzan and run like Jane.
No thanks, he’ll always be a 1 in 5 game wonder

TPJ while destructive on his day is nothing on Fafita.

We can agree to disagree but the similarities are pretty bang on.
He’ll be nothing but an impact player that is overhyped in my opinion

$800 to $900k?
That's equivalent to $100k additional salary each for nine of our emerging stars.
Like Todd, Kautoga, O'Neill, Papali'i, Wilson, Skelton!!!, Hayes, Clarke, Hopoi...
Which is the better investment?

Cleary would make him look like a superstar. He's mad if he doesn't go there.

No
He wants to be with a premiership team anyway.
I agree.

Got his payday at the Titans and is probably willing to take a bit less to win the premiership.

Definitely seems like a Roosters signing.

Not sure he would fi in at the 'riff with his work ethic.
