A wise decision. Why take a little extra money to go to struggling clubs when you can stay at a team play extremely well and are all happy.

The Bulldogs have thrown him many lifelines and he has pulled himself together and he is paying the club back by doing the right thing. Very respectful decision :grinning:

He has always had this brilliance but consitency has been his problem. At the same time he has never had the likes of Kimmorley & Ennis to take the pressure off. Week in week out and he will reclaim his Kiwi jumper

its good to see him return the favour, the club stuck by him through alot of his **** and he is in the form of his career and could have demanded the big bucks, but he didn't and he really seems to have turned his life around, well done benny

I'm not sure he can play for NZ for2 years since he played for was it Tonga in the World Cup?

To top off his outstanding performance, his post-match interview for man of the match was very well done, well spoken.

Good news!! Ben repaid the faith the Bulldogs have kept in him!

2 years is plenty imo. Keeps him on his toes. We cant forget his past...

What does this mean for Barba?
it means he has to follow in the footsteps of roberts back up the path, by pulling his head out of his ass and doing what's right both on and off the field, because by all reports, he isn't meeting targets

if he gets his act together, he could be a regular on the bench this year....maybe

Fantastic news and it is brilliant to hear Benny didn't just take the bigger money offers and run but rather repaid the clubs faith in him and sacrificed some extra money for the betterment of his career and the club.

Great to see that loyalty in modern Rugby League isn't completely dead.

4 try assists and 1 try in any match is a fantastic feat, let alone against the Broncos in Brizy.

10/10 performance. Best game in FG to date. Try & sign this bloke up for longer IMO. You can tell he's getting better and better every week.
