I'm a purple man myself - I don't eat blackcurrants but I do like the flavour.

The pineapple ones are in danger of being left to last in my freezer too.

As a kid in the 80s, we were quite poor, and so we would get the Black and Gold jobs from the local IGA. So, as an adult, buying Zooper Doopers is still pretty special.

Didn't there used to be heaps of ice block brands? Now there's Zooper Doopers and Berri Squelch
 
I'm also punching out some of these lately....

My mum had to tupperware version, but these are $2 jobs from K mart.

Its quite fun to experiment with flavours using whatever is in the fridge...

I'm sure there were plenty around, but Zooper Doopers were the ducks nuts. Maybe it was the spaceman on the old tube.

Along with Wizz Fizz, they were real treats when I'd go to the local pool in summer.

yeah i liked the zooper doopers too, but at the pool and school they were the poor kids treats. the kids eating sunnyboys used to say you can't afford a sunnyboy lol
 
Fairy Floss is my fav actually. Tastes surprisingly close to the actual thing.

I bought a packet about 2 weeks ago, when it was disgustingly hot. They are brilliant.

No kids with me as an excuse :grinning:

I'm hooked on frosty fruits at present. Which reminds me I have some in the freezer.

Quelch used to make smoothie ones. They were fucken delicious !!

We used to have those when I was a kid. Last Christmas I bought my sister and my nephew and niece icy makers. They're just a soft cup with liquid filling. You freeze the cup, then just pour in whatever you want as your icy, squeeze the cup and it freezes the liquid you poured in after about 30 seconds.
 
I'm obsessed with ZD Sours, especially with the Lemon and the Raspberry.

One of the only food/drink that hasn't changed flavours on me.
