We saw tonight Curran’s versatility, tackled everything that moved, and capable of some strong runs, both he & Preston’s high work rate, will allow Kikau to focus more on his running game

Hutcho has the better defensive kicking game, Sexton the better attacking kicking game....if that makes sense.

Hutcho being the more experienced player means he will start @ 7 as the club is continuing to baby Burton for yet another season. Hutcho is more likely to play the controlling role with less errors than say Sexton even if he brings a little more spark with the ball in hand.

Pretty sad you can't pick your best option at 7 because Burton needs nursing

Agree with all but I would have Tracey at FB and Xerri RC.
Salmon looked good tonight.

How has no one got room for Skelton? He looked powerful and dangerous almost every time he touched the ball. I'd have him in instead of Kiraz, and Tracey at FB and maybe taffe on the bench. He can cover most backline positions. Xerri showed enough to get a run. Salmon wasn't bad at lock. The question is who do you leave out?

Wilson starting is good to see.
I'm ok with him not being in the starting side if Kiraz and Fox get wing spots, or if Burton is moved to centre creating another reshuffle. But yeah once Fox is gone that wing spot should be Wilsons indefinitely, kid has alot more improvement in him.

Exactly why I'd play him off the bench when a bit of fatigue sets in. Brings takle efficiency and is more likely ro have some decent runs once players start to gas out.

Get that we're all excited about the upcoming season, but isn't it an idea that we wait till after the trials to make a judgement?

How many players were we missing in the first one?
