See I get criticised here but if it we’re me I’d have done this:
Re-signed Foran on the modest two year deal he wanted (he’s now up to yr 3 since then)
Signed flanno as coach
Signed Townsend when he fell out of favour at Cronulla.
Throw Benji a one year deal to assist the youth
Failing that, made a strong play for AR
Not re signed RFM, at least not longer than a year

We would be so much stronger and before you say ‘that is the benefit of hindsight’ each and every one of those moves I called for whilst they were still possible

@04 Dreaming ’knows’ that Luai has signed and on ‘big overs’ - but won’t say whether that’s 2024 or 2025. Oh, and also ‘knew’ that Skelton would make his first grade debut but only took the field when the 18th man activated. He also claimed he was in possession of a text message from a player regarding the wrestling nonsense but when asked to quote the first four words wouldn’t. So mate, I’m afraid waiting until 1 November just won’t cut it - we already ‘know’ .

I think a couple of contracted players will be moved on and that seems to tie in with 8-9 signings which would include a few from within.. I'd guess -

yep, they assume once a development contract is over they become a top 30 player. It doesn't necessarily happen. You would argue Kautoga is too then
