To make the post season out of our current crop. Who is your halfback? I think it’s the hardest question we face.

Still Averillo, then not far behind BBO.

On my own here, but I would pick maybe BBO or Flannagan as I don't rate Averillo at all as a half. Not much of a choice ATM.

Think Burton should be utilised as a 6 where he will be a Fittler style running gun half and we just have to somehow sort a 7.

I think BBO has the most potential in the 7 position..
From what we have in the stable..he is our best chance of a win.
Avo isn’t a 7.
Flanagan doesn’t have the confidence to control the team
As long as Burton is the 6,I would consider Dufty at 7 and Toia at the back..
That kid has something and Dufty could be a roaming 7.
My opinion..Avo has gone backwards and Wakeham is only in the discussion because of our poor options.

Flanagan 2022, go sign Phoenix Crossland for 2023 he is off contract
How do you “go sign” someone? What if he doesn’t want to come here? Not convinced that he’s much better than what we currently have anyway.

We have 4 halves in the squad.
None of which are first grade level footballers, let alone playing one of the most important roles in the team.

Averillo just isn’t a half. He is a good reserve grade centre.
Wakeham is a half but a reserve grade half.
Flanagan was a good school boy half when the game was played totally differently. The game has changed and he hasn’t adjusted and gone with it. I think Reserve Grade is a step above his level.
BBO is one for the future. If we throw him in the deep end it could ruin him before he finds his feet.

That leaves nobody[emoji31]

JMK with an extremely simple game plan while far from ideal is definitely the best option we have for me.

14. BBO
9. Cook
7. JMK
6. Burton
