Well, as the title says this is what you think our full strength 17 will look like. Assuming, everyone is fit and healthy, what team would you send out???

1. Patten
2. El Masri
3. Morris
4. Idris
5. Goodwin
6. Roberts
7. Kimmorley
8. Hannant
9. Ennis
10. Hodgson
11. Warburton
12. Ryan
13. Stagg

14. Armit
15. Gordon
16. Eastwood
17. Barba

Also to have: Millard, Hickey, Sullivan, Morrin, Holdsworth, Utai, Kite, Te Maari etc. as back ups shows the depth we have this year and the competition for spots.

Yeh that was the spot i was iffy with. On form i would put Morrin there or we can use Eastwood as a prop but i think he is better suited to edges of the ruck.

I wouldnt have Hickey in this team, still think he isnt fit enough to be playing first grade. Past few weeks ive been impressed with Morrin, id have him in instead until hickey loses more weight lol.

Im not sold on Barba either, 10 mins of brilliance isnt enough to cement a spot. Whether or not he can play a role week in week out, remains to be seen. Time will tell though. I'd have DJ in, for the mean time.

Good thing you explained full strength, some people dont know what full strength means.

Holdsworth will probably be there as well instead of Barba

I agree. My top 17 would be.

1. Luke Patten
2. Hazem El Masri
3. Josh Morris
4. Jamal Idris
5. Bryson Goodwin
6. Ben Roberts
7. Brett Kimmorley
8. Ben Hannant
9. Mick Ennis
10. Michael Hodgson
11. Gary Waburton
12. Andrew Ryan(c)
13. David Stagg

Interchange:
14. Greg Eastwood
15. Chris Armit
16. Yileen Gordon
17. Ben Barba

IMO, this is our strongest side. Waburton the bloke who will defend well on the edges and is picking up an offload and his attack with Gordon coming on to add some impact.

Then you have Eastwood who can play prop or second row and has lovely footwork for a big man with a nice offload and Barba is definately a "spark".

Morrin has done well and he was the unlucky person to miss out VIA musical chairs style

With Barba, we can have him the 17 but it doesnt mean he needs to be used. Look at Moore earlier in the year and the Dragons, played games with only 15 or 16 players. Barba can be our x-factor, if we need that spark throw him in to roam around. Holdsworth has done a solid job but really doesnt provide anything.

He is not a second rower and doesnt bring that fear into the opposition. He may or may not be there but for me id have Barba.

On second thoughts, i would use Warburton as he was on the improve, shift him to 2nd row and Eastwood on bench for Hickey, that team has a good balance

Warburton is a must. A defensive workhorse like that can never be underestimated. My team:

1: Patten
2: El Masri
3: Morris
4: Idris
5: Goodwin
6: Roberts
7: Kimmorley
8: Hannant
9: Ennis
10: Hodsgon
11: Warburton
12: Ryan
13: Stagg

14: Eastwood
15: Armit
16: Gordon
17: Barba

The firepower on that bench is amazing IMO.

Just on DJ when he is thrown in there he tackles (mostly). Could you confidently throw Barba out there with 20mins to go if scores were level?

i doubt he would have been used at all yesterday if we were the ones hanging on to the lead

even if you'd want barba to chase points, holdsworth is the all-purpose utility sub:p
