Left of field one here, Wighton in for Luai
why? You're literally just weakening your team to fit a player in who whilst good isn't a genuine x factor. Just to remind people Luai is a premiership and origin series winning 5/8th who incidentally has established combinations with Cleary, Api, Yeo, Martin, Burton and To'o.

It’s laughable that anyone thinks Tupou is better than JAC. I legit question anyone’s rugby league knowledge if they think Tupou is better than JAC.
you can say JAC is a better winger for sure but they're 2 different players with completely different strengths, Tupou was obviously chosen for 2 reasons being high ball and metres, and based on how game 2 panned out it was the right tactical decision, the NSW back 3 all made over 200m and was pivotal in establishing the NSW territorial dominance, the middles didn't have to waste their gas tank getting on side and taking tackle 2 and tackle 3 hit ups off their own line, Tupou's aerial threat also resulted in Holmes giving away that escort penalty which kind of turned the game on its head. You can argue JAC should've been there to start with but how do you possibly justify dropping a player who ran for 200m, 70 PCM, 10 tackle breaks, a try and a line break in a game where you won by 32 points?

We would've won by more if JAC played instead of Tupou. JAC has a better history than Tupou in Origin.

in what way would we have won by more? JAC has a better history because he played in better teams. Tupou played alot of his games during the Qld golden era, thats not to say JAC isn't a better winger Tupou isn't the scrub you're trying to paint him as. As I said JAC doesn't have the same strengths as Tupou and Tupou's strengths were a big reason why NSW were able to be so dominant

Tupou playing had literally nothing to do with us winning. I could name 5 wingers who would've done at least as goood a job. I'm not responding to anymore of your messages because your opinion is terrible.

you mean you're not responding because you're a petulant child who can't handle it when someone disagrees with you and lets not pretend this is the 1st time you've thrown your toys out of the cot on here

To'o announced his allegiance to Samoa for upcoming world cup. There's no way he should get picked for origin game 3 now. To play origin you should have to commit to Australia first and if not selected then you can go commit to a second tier nation.

He will 100% be picked. Luai will select Samoa also.

I think it's great that Origin players are opting for the 2nd tier counties for the world cup. It makes it a much better comp. I think they should go further that if you meet the criteria for NSW or QLD and also NZ or England you can do both as well. I'll be cheering for Australia, but I still want to enjoy a good contest.

Samoa are looking like having a beast of a team if they get all their eligible players. Someone like Luai would most likely make the Aussie squad but be behind Munster for the big games, much better that he is playing in a first choice spot for a team that needs him. To'o for Samoa also puts JAC back in the frame for Australia and gets another quality player on the big stage. It's a win win situation for everyone.

And it's his fault because he went to the NFL?
I was not discussing fault, simply players that failed to live up to their potential and when it came to Hayne (who could have been the best player in the game), wasting 2 years in the US trying to make it in the NFL was a waste to that extent of his league potential

Latrell has ruled himself out of Origin 3 declaring main focus is South's.

Billy also confirmed Kafusi is out of Origin 3 also with family issues in the USA.

I don't get why Wighton should get named in the team. Yeh he played a good game in game 1 but it wasn't a game that screamed an absolute must pick

I'd kick the door down and get latrell to come straight back into the team for Crichton and then leave the rest of the team as is

Wighton was the only shinning light in a very average performance game 1

So he was above average of a very average nsw performance

Again his performance in game 1 was good, not arguing that, but it's not a performance that screamed he's a must

Wighton played left centre in game 1 and Burton played left centre in game 2. Burton played WAY better than Wighton in the same position.

My personal changes would be Latrell & JAC for Crichton & Tupou.

If the choice is Wighton or Crichton for right centre I'd go Wighton just.
