panthers paid some of his wage this year
Why would they need to? He wanted a release and was given it, the Roosters have enough money to cover all of Jennings wage they should of been paying the Panthers really haha

Yeah but only on the official salary component paid.

I'm sure if the ATO looked at a player like SBW as an example, they might find that his spending habits aren't in line with his "official" income etc.

They do income/expenditure test on general public, you'd think they'd have an easy task with NRL players spending their brown paper bag funds..

Brian canavan (roosters ceo) was on radio this morning saying they are applying for salary cap concession to keep mini - im sure schubert will ok that ffs what cap are they on - they do have the same talent scout from storm days of 2 books
