Why have we not signed a monster like Sivo from Parra.. I mean these guys are monster quick wingers.. I don’t get why we haven’t had a cracki
Well lets take PNG Hunters in Q Cup for example (with an entire country of talent for tap). 1 or 2 of their players were poached and playing in Q Cup sides for Cowboys, etc.

PNG Hunters second last on Q Cup ladder. Meanwhile Fiji can't even get a team in Canterbury Cup.

why arent we looking at the QLD cup?
Because of scorelines like this.

SC Falcons are Storms feeder club and pretty much half a Storm first grade side, so slaughtering everyone in the comp. 9 straght wins.

Canterbury Cup superior in every way.

Exactly right. For every radradra and vunivalu there are 1000 tangives and Montoya’s.

I think most of the top talent is gone. It’s not like you go there see a dude climbing a coconut tree and you sign him as a winger.

Better bet is getting the best u21 players and calling their manager offering a first grade shot. Or scouting the rugby 7s and enticing someone over with some cash.
LOL bula bula

PNG Hunters won the cup in 2017. Majority of the players have never played junior rugby league..... It was only recently that they started the junior rugby league programme.

There have been a few Fijian players that have tried and failed in the NRL. It's just as hard finding a good player in Fiji then it is in any other place around the world.
Parra have done it two wingers in a row.. The dragons jumped on board.. Storm.. I’m sure it’s worth a trip and $$ for one of the riches clubs in the comp

A try-scoring ace from Papua New Guinea has become one of the hottest properties on the market for next season.
Wynnum Manly’s fullback Edene Gebbie has been superb in two season in the Intrust Super Cup and has four Sydney clubs chasing him for 2020.
The Papua New Guinea international has speed to burn and at 23, has a huge future in the game.
A fearless ball runner, he is certain to become a crowd favourite when he gets his chance in the NRL next season.
Gebbie was the PNG Hunters Rookie of the Year in 2019 before joining Wynnum this season, where he has also been prominent.

That was a WWOS Mole special...

I don't think he's ever seen the bloke play, because he really isn't that quick. About as fast as Montoya.

By the time we find a big fast Fijian winger the game would change to lean and fit. No more prop locks and more old school ball playing 13s. The game is changing from 3 yrs ago and pay and the boys can't keep up. They train based on the previous year and start 2 steps behind the game.

There is at least three players every year in the Fijian sevens team who with the right development, would be good prospects for an NRL wing spot.

We supposedly have some good outside backs coming through in the juniors, guys like Clayton, Kuresa, Katoa and then in the SG. I know it's a fair wait but really there nothing much we can do

I think we are kidding ourselves if we think the club is not exploring those options.
