You are correct we have missed so many targets. Moses, Hunt, Tino, Haas, Leinu, Sele, D Saifiti to name a few. Haas did re sign before 1 November we went public with getting him a mentor. Hunt and Tino complete botch ups. D Saifiti was the contracted one. We didn't even explore Flegler, J Saifiti and Capewell. I still think we will get AFB.

@Flanagun is right. It's not they want to agree him him it's they just don't accept things. Sport to a lot of people is a way of life. Supporting a team is like being in some kind of relationship whether like being abused in a marriage or parent/child can only see the sun shine in the other, etc. They know the faults just can't face up to them. It's the same in supporting a sporting club just don't want to face them when those detached can. Some fans to get around not seeing is all well just apply critical thinking, some just walk away quietly, some just build a detachment of some kinds or something Flanno told me about just laughing at them as a coping mechanism now speaking up. It's how fans cope all different ways.
Logic suggests these signings are reserve graders. Reynolds was pumped up as Cooper Cronk or Terry Lamb greatness in his mid 30's. He didn't last a year. Pele was pumped up now gone. Mahoney didn't become the marquee 9 we bought him to be. He's just a solid 9 at best with a big ego and personality. He's not in the class of Ennis, Hetherington, Peponis or even JMK. Our fans will build them up out of hope. I can understand this they just want hope. When those who come in and question things they don't want to know about it and why we get told to kill ourselves so they don't have to hear it.
