Id say its a knockout. Classic obstacle course, tested every muscle in your body and you had to wear a frog suit to participate.

As a side note, ad break in Have You Been Paying Attention. Switched to Ninja Warrior and Freddy Flintoff has "Pole Ninja" written on his back. I laughed and laughed.

Before I rented, I used to live with my parents.

Because we owned (not rented), we all had to crowd around our small TV set and watch It's a Knockout as kids.

I wish they'd bring it back, because as a renter with a 100" OLED TV, I'd love to see It's a Knockout again in 4K with Dolby ATMOS.

And you always had a great laugh watching it.

At least with It's a Knockout, you knew there would be a winner at the end of the series.

Billy J Smith & Fiona McDonald had chemistry together.

I loved the celebrities episodes as well.

Back then they didn't give a shit what they looked like after the show.

It's a Knockout was great back in the 80's as a kid. My family did the same thing.

I remember they brought it back a few years ago but it was a "remake" that really had nothing on the original show. It was actually shit and disapointing and they ended up axing it.

There is NO SUCH THING as an Australian Ninja, that's why I automatically by-passed this show. A ninja (or shinobi), was a covert agent or mercenary in feudal Japan trained in the ancient Japanese Martial Art of Ninjutsu. Ninjutsu was a separate discipline in some traditional Japanese schools, which integrated study of more conventional martial arts (taijutsu) along with shurikenjutsu, kenjutsu, sojutsu, bojutsu and others. The functions of the ninja included espionage, sabotage, infiltration, assassination and guerrilla warfare. NOT RUNNING AROUND ON A GIANT JUNGLE GYM!!!

So even though I was very young when It's a Knockout was a hit, by default, it automatically wins for me.

Also known as MXC. I loved it because the Japanese are funny on game shows. The fact that they dubbed over the voices and commentary and just made up random names and stories about them.
