Wests used to play out of Ashfield, then moved out to Lidcombe, and then finally Cambeltown...that might answer your question

These are the Western Sydney LGA's, therefore, any suburb affiliated with them, however I strongly consider Bayside as south.

  • Bayside
  • Blacktown
  • Burwood
  • Camden
  • Canterbury-Bankstown
  • Canada Bay
  • Cumberland
  • Fairfield

I can see exactly what you're trying to do in this thread, so to save you a ban (for trolling) I have edited your post.

Anything straight west of Sydney CBD is technically "Western Suburbs", and police will report it as Sydney's west.

Never heard of Mt Druitt being in North West Syndey (that to me is Cherrybrook, Dural, Baulkham Hills etc). Western Sydney starts at Strathfield to my mind, then Inner West being right of Strathfield. Then I'd take the corner out of the blue one at Bella Vista and Baulko, and then the rest of the blue and red is 'Western Sydney'.

I'd agree.. that map is simply showing it "as the crow flies".

This is probably more accurate in my opinion.

Marsden Park, Riverstone/Rouse Hill/Quakers Hill is all part of the North West Growth Precinct.

Obviously there are more split up areas amongst that (e.g Hills District), etc.

Strathfield is as far as you can go and still be inner west.
