Well Im coming to an end in my schooling days and am moving on to university.

I would like to ask, Whats it like? Better than school? worse?

Hows the social side of things?

Is it like school where everyone follows a scene or is it more like you do your own sort of thing?

Dude - Uni is a chance to re-write the rules of life that have been holding you back.

Nobody knows you're "that dude" from High School ... you'll meet brand new people, and get the chance to make brand new first impressions.

You watch - The dorks become glamours now, so make sure you're nice to ALL the ladies.

So march to the beat of your own drum - Dont let people lead you around ... find things YOu like and then find like-minded people to liek hem with.

I lived in a College at UNE in Armidale for 3 out of 4 years during my degree and it was a defining moment in my life. You make friends that will stay with you for a lifetime and the social life is beyond comprehension.

i did an apprenticeship after school but as CK stated make the most of the moment and grab any rare oppurtunity that comes your way that might not knock twice,i had mates who wasted a lot of years from non stop partying and some who made something of themselves so the ball is in your court

It's hard to say either way as different people like different things. However, from my point of view, the lifestyle is alright, but the workload is large if you want to get the grades. I bloody hated the huge lectures at first but now my classes are much smaller and it's far more interactive so you don't feel like you're just another random cnt in a pool of 40,000.

It really depends what you're into mate.

It's awesome. Well, technically i've been going to college for the past two years. But it's the same thing. You have tonnes more freedom. You'll end up meeting people like you and you'll feel more independent. Just make sure you find a good way to tackle both studying and socialising. Cos' you'll end like a depressed zombie if you just focus on one of them.

Oh yeah, you'll be broke like a mofo throughout your uni/college years. So find a job ASAP!

Ahhk guys. When you say presentations, do you mean infront of your classes? Or just infront of the markers?

Also is the social scene like high school? Or is it completely different? Like do the girls move on from the biatching phase and the guys tend to be more mature? Or is it the same shieet lol

With social scene you'll find a shift in the hieracrhy of popularity.

Nerds have a bad habit of becoming hot.
The high school hotties have a bad habit of getting pregnant.

Some lads who couldn't get girls to give them the time of day in HS, will be beating them away.

My advice : Find a core of fellas ... 3-8 of them, and give each other a reason to go out to as many gatherings as you can afford. Re-write the rules when ti comes t why you do the things you do. Dont let HS hold you back.

OR rent a place together and bring the parties to you.

Be courteous to the women.
Be dependaable.
Be a no-fuss kinda guy.

You'll go far.

I say follow CKs advice.

Also depends on what course you're doing, what uni you're going to as well.

I loved my time at uni, met people I never wouldve met, from around the world too as their are lots of internationals. But you do have to be disciplined around exam time
