What is your favourite (CURRENT) TV Show

Second season of one of the most underrated shows is coming out in August

@SARGE what’s your take on the ending of Sopranos, I reckon that guy at the end kills Tony.

You should read some of the theories online.

I reckon they ended it so they can continue it (Medow walks in) or to end it (hitman walks in).

But im pretty sure they finally admitted he gets shot.

Finished Andor. The second season started a bit slow and went off on a crap side story, but it comes together toward the end. The ending wasn't much of an ending but it's really just setting up for the movie as the series finishes right where the movie starts.

Amazon has cancelled Wheel of Time. Haven't watched it myself but I know many love it.

I'm watching Slow Horses on Prime.

It's based around the fictitious "Slough House" (in London, not Slough), a purgatory assignment for mi5 spooks who have fucked up on a job but not so bad they are kicked out. They're effectively supposed to go to the office, and do fuck all indefinitely.

Slough House is run by a Gary Oldman, a bitter old drunk (played brilliantly). In the first season they defy the actual mi5 (a mission headed up by British acting royalty Kristen Scott Thomas) to save a Pakistani student front bring executed by white nationalists... I enjoyed it, so am now onto season two.

In typical British fashion, seasons are short (only 6 episodes). I think there's 30 eps ll up.

Three episodes of Murderbot are out so far. It's really good with one key exception. The episodes feel super short. It feels like a show you would binge watch in a single day, but the episodes are being released weekly.

I definitely recommend it, but I also recommend you wait until all the episodes are out then binge it.

Onto the third season of the white lotus, pretty good thus far

Is the 3rd season the one with Lisa in it?

I'm only half an episode into the first season. Heard it gets good. Need to get into it.

Also like SNLs parody version

Had no idea who Lisa was until I googled her but yep, It sure is. The first season was really good imo, second was pretty good but dropped off a bit, plus I didn't really care for the characters but I'm really liking the third. Plus Michelle Monaghan is always a pleasure to watch

If you havent seen Mobland with Tom Hardy bloody hell its good but its the kinda series I really like. Another one is This Town is Ours.

I watched the first 3 or 4 episodes on a plane a few years back and I liked it. But I kinda forget about it. I'll add it to my backlog of stuff to watch.

Just finished binge watching Dept Q, it was originally a nordic series adopted by the pommies. Matthew Goode is great as the lead defective detective, Kellie MacDonald plays his shrink and Alexej Manvelov (who is Swedish) absolutely kills it as an ex Syrian Cop (as if).

It's bit of slow burn but well worth a watch.
