3. CANTERBURY (22pts, PD +57)

R17: Sea Eagles (home) L

R18: Storm (away) L

R19: Tigers (away) W

R20: Cowboys (home) W

R21: Panthers (home) W

R22: Broncos (away) L

R23: Eels (away) L

R24: Tigers (home) W

R25: Rabbitohs (home) L

R26: Titans (away) W

Analysis: With games against the Sea Eagles, the Storm, the Tigers (twice), the Broncos, the Eels, and the Rabbitohs, the Bulldogs have a very tough run home. Josh Reynolds and Trent Hodkinson have proved they can back up from Origin, but it will be difficult to avoid a flat spot when the high of their careers is done and dusted. Their trump card is Des Hasler — if any coach can pilot his side to a high finishing position through turbulence, it’s Hasler.

Predicted finish: Fifth (32pts)

Our run home

So the draw has finally been fully announced.

What we knew already
Sea Eagles (H) Friday 4th July probably lose
Storm (A) Sat 12th July can definitely win this
Tigers (A) Sun 20th July should win this
Cowboys (H) Sat 26th July definitely should win
Panthers (H) Fri 1st August hoping for a tight win here

What we didn't know
Broncos (A) Fri 8th August I reckon we will win
Eels (A) Fri 15th August like to think we will win here
Tigers (H) Thu 21st August win
Rabbitohs (H) Thu 28 August this will be tough can't decide
Cowboys (A) Sun 7th September they are tough at home but we should win

Only one weekend game in the final 5 games. Geez.

What I really hate is the two Thursday games. Surely that crap could have been shared around a bit more? The crowds for those games had the potential to be absolutely huge, but once again we get shafted for tv ratings.

Anyway enough complaining... I honestly think besides the obvious issues, we have one of the better runs home. I hope we can capitolise on this and nab a top 4 spot. I will be cranky if we are in the bottom of the top 8.

Is it just me or does that not look that all that tough?
Outside of tonight & possibly Rabbits and with all players back on deck I would hope we would win most of those games.
Are my bulldogs glasses blurring my vision or are others feeling the same?

I said a month ago that 34 points at best 5th or 4 on %
Means winning 6 from 10 given injuries and SOO I think it's a fair result

We'll be playing a full strength Melbourne side, so that will probably be a big ask.

I can't argue with a 32 point finish. The real question is how far we go in the finals.

They knew our final points finish though, we pretty much have to win next week to be guaranteed a finals place and will be on 32 points.
