First Half Brisbane Broncos leading 14-0 till Josh Jackson snared a try on the 38th minute. That made the first half score 14-4.
Second Half Canterbury Bulldogs score and that was Marty Taupa that made it 14-10, off the scrum half Josh Reynolds grubbered the ball to Ben Barba and made it 16-14. 10 minutes to go and Ben(The Man)Barba steps one goes into a hole then into the try line and made it 22-14. End game That was a cracker of a game...

Don't forget injuries:
Sam Kasiano
James Graham
Dene Halatua..

Check out Tolman's stats, 182m and 45 tackles with only 1 missed. Awesome step up from him in the absence of Kasiano and Graham.

Indeed it was. This game had it all and gave our team the opportunity to test their mettle. Broncos are indeed the real deal.

We simply escaped that one. We had some 50/50 calls finally go our way, some Barba magic and luckily Matt Gillett had a shocker - 4 errors on our line and 6 missed tackles. Otherwise we need alot of improvement to beat Manly and Storm in the form they are in now. Keating, Reynolds and Ennis all contributed to inviting the Broncos to win. Having said that, awesome win and I'm so happy we can win ugly.

I'm worried big time by Wests next week. They're gonna have a lot of confidence now and that's when they play there best. Definitely a danger game

Indeed, I do agree with you El_Magic, because the West Tigers are on red hot fire.

I know, we have been winning but have looked shaky to say the least, didn't do much in 60 mins last week and started poor this week, think we need to improve

Wasn't the best performance from the boys but they showed a lot of heart to hang in there and comeback the way they did.

What a game by Tolman! The guy didn't stop all night!

Broncos blitzed us early, trying to do a bulldogs on the bulldogs, but they spent too much petrol doing it and couldnt do much after 20 minutes in attack.

We on the other hand just keep winning.

Good effort by our forwards considering we had Kasiano, Graham and Halatau out of the same game. Thats a lot of punch on the sideline.

It was exactly the sort of game we needed at this point of the season. The boys showed a lot of heart to get back into the game.

Scrappy win but still a great effort to win from such a poor start. They did make it so much harder for themselves though with poor kicks and unnecessary offloads. Also, the team did look slow and flat.

Not "the loss we had to have", but as good as. We ground out that win on the back of some great forward play. After half time, they played within their limits, and they played hard. When we get our ball players back, Kasiano and Graham, we will be even better.

An ugly win to sum it up best.... I'm sure we'll be up for a big one next week against the magpies, we seem to play our best footy in the big matches

X2. Totally agree. Taupau and Gavet played a solid game and all the better for them to watch Tolman go through the paces. Tolman had an outstanding game.

We were down 14-0 and it looked like it was going to get worse. Then our forwards just said "Okay, its business as usual" and the team just gelled and got on with it. It was another if not the best show of disipline and mental toughness I've seen from the Bulldogs.

Hey, Des Hasler, thanks for coming.
