Hot cross buns are out, so why not.......A bit early for April fools, no?
great as Barba was in 2012, Hayne at fullback in 2009 has him beat2012 Ben Barba is probably the best fullback in the last 30 years. Including better then Slater.
Had a few good seasons... settle down mate. Slater did it for years.2012 Ben Barba is probably the best fullback in the last 30 years. Including better then Slater.
Yep, bloody grub, never pinged for most of the crap he was allowed to get away with..Slater had the better karate kick that's for sure He flew through the air with the greatest of ease.

Nah no way... Hayne showed up late in the season Barba was a freak all yeargreat as Barba was in 2012, Hayne at fullback in 2009 has him beat
your right Hayne did pop up late in the season but that finals run was better then what barba did over the whole season.Nah no way... Hayne showed up late in the season Barba was a freak all year
But they both didn't win a title and in the end that's all that matters. Yes Barba had Graham, Reynolds and a few other quality players help him. But the general consensus is that Hayne did it on his own and thats not really true, Mortimer came in and made a huge difference and they had Moi Moi, Mateo, Inu, Ben Smith and a host of other players peaking. Like you said Hayne better finals series, but. Barba had the better year, his try savers seem to be forgotten about too imo as alot of these who had the better season things focus alot more on attack.your right Hayne did pop up late in the season but that finals run was better then what barba did over the whole season.
both great in 09 &12
