Can anyone confirm that all the Victorian recruits will be at the club in 2019 or have they headed back to play for the Victoria Thunderbolts in Jersey Flegg instead?

Congrats to Devontai Seumanutafa and Ulysses Semisi on their selection in the TOA Samoa U18 team.

They lost to nz resident u18 last week but devontai scored a try. I dont know much about the selection process for aust schoolboys but i thought he was a cert, coming from a strong school and with some h/lights like below

and the bloke with the red frizzy hair in #13 is Brock Hamill.

Hopefully that video is recent as it shows Brock is back playing footy after his cancer treatment. Good player too.

Didn't realise Devontai is only 17... fark he's a massive unit for his size. Hope he continues to develop and makes his way to Flegg/Ball soon.

That's from 2017. He's finished school and also no one gets back to playing sport during chemo.

Hamill seems to still be a fair way away from footy. I read he was part way through 12 weeks chemo. That was back in august.

Devontai should finish school this year. He will be joining us fulltime in summer and play in u20 next year. If he can progress well, then may be playing vs men in reserves in 2020. Seems to be the pathway for this club.

Whereas fifita, who was a year above him in school, already played nrl for broncos this year.

Goes hard and looks like a force, hopefully one of our coaches teaches him to be more aware of his surroundings though, needs to get his head up and look for the supporting player. Still young though and could be something special.

Full sides ..

Kuresa also called up. I wonder what happened with Winters Chang and Devon (?) .. If these blokes are that promising why aren't they down playing Ball/Flegg/NYC?

Ridiculous how many of these guys Cowboys and Broncos have signed up.

ANNOYED that in all this McDonnell couldn't identify and sign up Jangala Bennett as a future talent.

Both devontai and winters chang would have played sg had they been in sydney this year. Theyre joining the flegg/nyc team this summer.

They both made the qld 18 yo schools team to play in national cship back in july this year but missed out on the aust schoolboys selection and now the qld emerging squad.

Im guessing garner and sexton will also join the flegg team this summer.

I believe Big John has or is heading back to Melbourne and Another player has been contacted and asked to go back but is waiting to see if he makes squad here otherwise he will head back too
