Volkman steers Roosters to trial win over Wests Tigers

Halfback Ronald Volkman starred with two tries as the Roosters gave a better-credentialled Wests Tigers side all it could handle and more in a 28-22 win at Kirkham Oval in Camden on Saturday night.

The Roosters have an embarrasment of riches in the halves. Walker and Volkman look like future stars while Keary is an Origin player and Lam is pretty good also.
