Tyrone May made available to Super League clubs as NRL return falls through
The Catalans Dragons star was thought to be on his way to Canterbury Bulldogs.

Catalans Dragons talent Tyrone May.

Super League clubs have been given an unexpected recruitment opportunity after Tyrone May's proposed move to the NRL collapsed. The Catalans Dragons ace was widely expected to sign for Canterbury Bulldogs with an agreement thought to have been reached.
But in a surprise turn of events, May has been offered to Super League clubs in the past couple of weeks after the Bulldogs U-turned on the deal. The reason for the change of direction is unclear and while it's not known if Canterbury plan to relaunch their interest, May's representatives have now put their focus on landing a deal elsewhere.

The Samoa international, an NRL champion with Penrith Panthers, has been made available to a number of Super League clubs. Whether a club decides to make a move remains unclear but May has had a good season with Catalans and was impressive in their win over St Helens on Thursday. His utility value is also an asset, with the 27-year-old able to play at centre or in the halves.

Thank fuck for that!!!

I wonder if any of these Taafe rumours had anything to do with it

Good to see that we didnt go anywhere near Lodge and pulled the offer off the table for May

Hopefully we go nowhere near the Fainu brothers

Taafe would be a decent signing as a utility

We got plenty of "potential", which need to be worked on and developed in the lower grades - Papalli, Wilson, Karl, Skelton, Harrison, etc

Time to zoom our focus on aggresive props, experienced props and a grub or two

So summer time dogs to announce signing of big Haas and tino?
I get the feeling if Tino does not re-sign with the Gold Coast, he will go to Melbourne

In saying that we all know Des Hasler is not shy on throwing big bucks at forwards

If Ben Hunt goes to Gold Coast in 24, they are a top 6 side with Hasler at the helm

Roosters have been very very quiet....If Haas comes to Sydney, Uncle Nick will surely outdo Laundy with some prime Eastern Suburbs real estate

For those who watched him play closely, was he a good defender? Honestly I'd take any good defender over Oku.

Iif Haas doesn't resign with the Broncos for 2025+ he will be going to Easts to replace JWH.

The club copped a lot of heat on social media from fans when this was floated. Seems they’ve made the right decision.

Or the truth might be that we were never really close to signing him in the first place..
its this. Just journo's throwing stuff against the wall and see what sticks. I've said it before. Gus meets with lots of players, for reasons that don't involve getting a contract.
