If Lodge and May were top shelf in their respective roles then sounds good but they are no better than the guys we have in our NSW Cup team.

Yeah I’m not sure what the thinking is behind this one. Like realistically which position would he fit in? Maybe as a bench utility because he can cover multiple positions, but he’s not that great anywhere he plays
Yeah because in 04 we were hated because one bloke stalks young girls then terrorises A young family. The other bloke gets convicted of revenge porn then acts like he did nothing wrong.
Still no bulldogs fans will care if we are winning again, I wouldn’t hang out with these people or let my daughter near them, same goes for the 04 team, actually probably 90% of footy players I wouldn’t but that’s not why I watch the game.

I know right? Some people expect footy players to be impeccable citizens or university professors. These guys are meatheads and first and foremost their task is to win football matches, not do charity work at pre schools. The other stuff is a bonus

I went through a faze caring about the characters of the team as well but in the end I’m in it purely for the entertainment of the sport, and when some players really shine as good people off the field, like Hazem that’s great but the reality is most are never going to be like that due to the nature of these alpha male types.
