Also - “he has not shown us a single thing this year to demonstrate that he is a good coach” which is a fact!Thoughts about Barrett on the Kennel, summarised:
Barrett is a really good coach.
Just wait and see.
He needs time.
He just needs good people around him.
Sack the people around him and put better people around him, then he will improve.
We just need to add top quality players and he will get better.
His record at Manly is because Manly is a basket case.
Penrith are going so well now because of Barrett, even though he is not there anymore and was only there for just over a season anyway.
He speaks so well.
He is a master recruiter
If Barrett is not our coach we won’t recruit any decent players.
Players are coming for Barrett, not the money, therefore, he is better than every coach we’ve had in recent history.

I'm happy to give him till next year but as mentioned we are playing one out set after set,when we get some 2nd phase going we play some good footy.
Maybe Barrett is a good assistant but struggles as a head coach and I ust remembered david furner was sacked by his own brother at the raiders then a few years ago Leeds sacked him during his first year.
