With his size and strength, if he got super fit and motivated..and controlled his offload, he would have been a gun.

Oh well, if you don’t wanna play don’t. Good luck in boxing. No where to hide your fitness in the boxing ring.
Naah, fuck him and anyone who likes him. Anyone who leaves early should die quickly in a head on collision with buzz rothfield

If Thompson had one ounce of moral fibre he would do the same.

we need some workers who arent afraid to get in the trenches, players like david stagg, aiden tolman, jacko ect who will turn up when the going gets tough. Our defence is so weak and we have no leaders who can stand up and show the way. The most annoying part is that we have all this money and there's nobody available to spend it on

The Kid is blessed with alot of talent but couldn't harness it with any otber system but the Panthers unfortunately. I'm glad he decided to stand by comment earlier this year. No use him staying loyal to league as he can do more in Boxing and make easy money and even do a stint in Tongan Rugby. All the best to his sporting career over the next 5 yrs.

The options are thin, the fact we're desperate doesn't put us in a great position to haggle either

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs can confirm that prop forward Tevita Pangai Junior has made the decision to retire from professional rugby league at the end of the 2023 season.
Tevita informed the Club and teammates of his decision at Belmore Sports Ground today, stating he would like to focus on family and pursue other options.

The 27-year-old vowed to remain committed to the team for the final three Rounds and will officially retire at the conclusion of the Round 27 match.
As he aims to stay focused on the remaining matches, Tevita will not be commenting on his decision to retire but would like to extend his thanks to the Bulldogs and his fans for all the support he has received.
The Bulldogs are supportive of his decision and thank him for his service to the Blue and White:
"We would like to thank Tevita for his contribution to the Club," said Bulldogs General Manager of Football, Phil Gould.
"He has been a valuable member of the team and will remain to be so during these final few Rounds.
"We are well aware of his talent as an athlete and are fully supportive of his decision to pursue another sport at the Season's end. We wish him and his family all the best for the future.
"Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog.

He’s the canary in the coal mine, the fact he doesn’t want to play another season at 27 tells me he doesn’t see the team going anywhere next year.

So he can take someone's head off in one of his last 3 games with very little consequences ... bring it on ....
