I cant help myself ... I cant stop watching it.

I don't know if it's the funny French accents that make me wanna refresh on my language skills, or the peleton chasing down break-away riders !

I dont even know how the points work ?!?

Do you watch it ?
Do you like it ?

ive been watching it the last 2 years, i tape it each night this year

the points decide who wins the sprinter and mountain categories, so the first people to get to the top of the mountain get some points towards the mountain standings and the first people over the finish line and intermediate sprint line get sprint points

and yes i enjoy the breakaway and the peloton chasing them, but proving how much of an a**hole i am, most people cheer for the breakaway to hold them off while i cheer for the peloton to get them

they are just showponies playing up for the cameras
OUCH ! :roflol: - Harsh but fair to this untrained eye ... :thumb:

So how does the course work ??? How many stages are there ???
I know they change it every year, but do they keep "some" stages locations because they're traditional ???

It's a shame it's a work of fiction like Barry Bonds's defence statement.

I eat this stuff up. Watched every stage for the last four years. Last night was disgusting, riders fell off the edge, broke his femur and the breakaway group got collected by a car and one of the riders went into a barbed wire fence, it was brutal.

It's OK. Not the worst thing on, but not the best. If i watch it it's usually just to see how Cadel is doing.

can't say I've ever watched more than 10min at a time. It's something I'd watch if there was nothing else on...or they showed some promo girl in spandex and I'd stay tuned for another glimpse lol

tour de france is good to watch late at night when you've got nothing to do and can't sleep.

Absolute monster stage last night. I cannot come to grips with how high they climb 2700metres on three different occasions!

What a ride by A Schlek but what about Cadel Evans leading the peleton up the mountain, dropping 50 of the world's elite with his pace and three time champion Alberto Contador. By the time Evans reached the the top of the final climb with his pace, only four men out of 167 stuck with him, amazing stuff.
