Disappointing news.

We were close to being back to full strength.

Despite all the T Rex negative discussion he's still got that quality game in him that you want around finals time.

Shame that we were so close to being full strength and lose another one. And it's another peck injury (2 years in a row now for the squad). Might just be a freak accident or mismanagement. Either way Tony was doing some good stuff this year for us. There were games when he had been killing it, even though he has been a bit quiet the last month.

Fair enough it could have been worse if we had lost graham or tolman or one of the Morris boys for the rest of the season, But this will still hurt us. Especially with up to 5 players out for our next game. Last thing we needed.

Might mean we will carry mbye off the bench now with the freed up spot once everyone comes back on board (if everyone comes back on board most likely :p)

Wouldn't wish injury upon anyone but Trex has never lived up to his price-tag. We might now see someone in there with the hunger to play first grade rather than go through the motions!

Williams has torn a pectoral muscle in a contact training session. Gone for the season.

There wouldn't be many I can think of that can play the role T Rex does. Jackson plays on the left and our bench are all middle forwards.

With this is mind surely Loko would fit the bill and play as a right forward in T Rex's place.

He usually plays better off the bench so I believe it's a loss

What round was it last year when Frankie suffered the same injury? He made it back for finals.

No big loss.

He has been pedestrian in defense all year. Hence why Des has been reducing his minutes dramatically and even starting him off the bench of late.

We will miss him somewhat in attack, but not in defense. He's so lazy.

I know he hasn't been great for us but now you haters watch how many defenders he used to draw and the pressure that will put on our other players

Everyone who thinks this is a good thing needs a reality check!!

Sure he hasn't lived up to his price tag but he still averages 100m a game, 4-5 tackle breaks and CONTRARY to everyone's beliefs about 0.5 errors per game!

Im not saying he has set the world on fire this year but to say we are better without him is just plain stupid

$650k to sit back and take it easy for the rest of the year. Life is a lottery, your either winner or a loser.

We did well when Frank was out most of the year last year and Frank was a bigger loss.

Regardless of what people think of his form or impact or whatever..it's still not a good thing to happen.. After all he is a Bulldog..
