Great actor, but he had a lot of demons that ruined his career. His role in Heat, and as Seymour Scagnetti in Natural Born Killers were amazing.

Had his demons but I liked him.
Standouts were also Saving Private Ryan and although a small role the undercover cop infiltrating the surf gang in the original Point Break. RIP old mate.
