Wasn’t it Des, who said Tolman was the best prop he had even seen, or something like that? If Tolman is the model then heaven help Tino…..
To be fair - Tolman was a pretty good foil our forward pack in the 2012-2015 era. Never missed a tackle and worked all day mistake free. Prime Tolman would be perfect for us now.

Tolman was a tackle burner.
got involved In good ball situations way too much, like gallen. Could accumulate numbers but was ultimately a hinderance.

Waddell is like the new Tolman. But misses tackles and gives away penalties.
*Sees an overlap* "Glue hands mode, activate!"
Absolute attack killer.

He was a tackle burner , but this was because he played with a poor set of halves. A good halfback would of told him to fuck off out of the way.

I stand by my original comment that he was solid in the middle for us and was an integral part of our last golden era.

A decent player with over 200 games of experience should know when he needs to take a hit up to help his team and should also know when he needs to get the f out of the way without being told

Still remember his kick into the in-goal, for him to run onto it and score.
Everyone was so shocked, he effectively had a free run!

A good spine player knows who should be decoy runner and pass to someone else. Don’t blame tolman for having a motor and always ready to go

You seriously think it wasn't Des's game plan? The fact it happened all the time should be a decent clue that it was the game plan, now was it a great game plan, simply no.

Which one of you lot asked Gus for Fa’asuamaleaui, yet mistyped it as Faamausili?
