He does have a chance at polling in the 3, 2, 1 in the odd NSW Cup game.

He is the classic example of what separates the NRL with Super League.

The Super League is on a par with NSW Cup quality wise. Players like Thommo dominate over there and then come into the NRL with huge wraps. Then get shown up massively.

In the same way fringe NRL first graders head over to Super League and win their Man of Steel award.

He is too small for his game style. He is a bash them up middle forward. Where he get dominated in the NRL. He doesn’t have second phase or a passing game. His defence is really poor also. He is a minimum wage in a top 30 player (if that). His best option would be to head home.

He just isn’t up to week in week out NRL level.

The rule changes i thought would suit him but he didnt get any better - defence biggest problem - very rarely the first shoulder in contact, often a step behind the defensive line - just didnt seem to learn.

So if he didn’t say it to weidler why hasn’t he come out and denied the article publicly? This might be hard for you to wrap your brain around but if he was misquoted or taken out of context it would be in his own best interest to refute the article, this has been doing the rounds for two weeks and Thompson has said nothing. Bottom line is he is one of the biggest issues at the club and the sooner he gets on the roosters payroll the better.

BevaUe why would Luke bother? No one really cares except a few hotheads on the kennel who aren’t taking the context of it all into accoutn and making rash judgments and misinformation.
Besides the silver lining is he might get a roosters deal and they are the marquee club of the NRL so why bother disputing it?
Actros already said it was Bs and that is good enough for me

Lets agree on a number and re sign him be use why go on a merry go round of players of none r better
What’s the harm in one year at 500k

500k for Thommo is fkn crazy. I know you love English players but Thommo ain’t it. Twal is mid yet a much better player than Thommo

The NRL don’t need to ask any questions. They just chat around the water cooler given both their HQs are in the same building
