The players and their own stupidity and ridiculous decision making at crucial times yes. You could see TBAZ gave them a plan and it was actually working.. it was the inexperience to close out a game at a crucial time..!!

Yep. The plan had Canberra down and out, but the idiots had to play stupid football, then give away possession through mindless penalties and set repeats. At a time we just needed to control the game, we decided to hit peak stupid.

The result was not Barrett's fault.

Enough senior players to calm the farm and settle the boys for a comfortable win
Bloody Elliot cost us the game, when he tackled their fullback without ball, It was a great kick by Averillo their fullback looked like he was going to knock it on anyway, but all Elliot had to do was wait for him to catch it then bundle him in to touch or hit him hard and try to knock the ball free but no! brain strain did it again they got the penalty and the game changed from there, That Idiot with his stupid mistakes has done it again, If only he didn't come back from his injury.

I just do not understand how these players never learnt to control a game through their entire junior and lower level senior football

Surely they’ve had to do it a number of times... how can they be so clueless?
