With teams so even these days the value and power of the attacking kick (grubber, torpedo bomb, cross field kick to winger, banana kick) etc is massive.

Work and hours on hours must be put into it at training esp considering how shit and inept our last tackle options are. Can we plz fcuk off the end on end bitch bomb straight down the fullbacks throat!!!

I believe these kicks and options are worth 12 points a game easily.

All of these comments are 100% on the money' Originally he was given state of the art training facilities but he has no idea of how to be competitive in the modern game of rugby league. So how did the prick responsible for it all get a two year contract extension that will cost $3 million?

How? Because our gutless Board and CEO have no idea either financially (salary cap problems) or at fan base level (unable to compete on the playing field) of running a football club that is actually part of a multi million dollar business venture..

When you listen to Des in the press conference each week after we get beaten, he says things like "but the opposition scored three try's from kicks" ... he devalues the kick, makes out that it was pure luck from the opposition. He Doesn't give them credit for the skill and art of the attacking kick. With this pre-historic attitude he will never improve the dogs in this part of the game.

Des devalues the attacking kick in every press conference after we loose.... He says " but the opposition scored x4 try's from kicks." He makes it out like it was pure luck, gives the opposition no credit for the art and skill of the kick. He uses it as an excuse for dogs loosing. This is a pre-historic attitude. Attacking kicks in the modern game are essential

If Mbye is doing the kicking, then yeh, best option is to just get tackled on the 5th.

Prior to Frawley we had no option other than mostly ignore a kicking game because we didn't have any good kickers in the team, theres no real mystery why we have had that strategy.

Don't be ridiculous the stats from every other team show that getting tackled on the last 5 metres out results in only a 30 -40 metres gain.
