This is a less significant problem but the NRL grand final being on at at fucking 8 o’clock or midnight or when ever they show it. I get advertising I’m not dumb but it’s to late the AFL know most people want to invite the mate and family over kids put on a bbq and maybe have a few after and fuck off but no NRL. So I live in Petersham and I’m going to a mates house that lives in Cronulla. Like come on NRL do you think people actually enjoy how late you put the game on?

Also I really don’t give a shit who wins.

The accusathon spells jealousy , why do some people spend so much time trying to meddle in other peoples lives while their own life is shit?
In normal circumstances we get normal outcomes.
If I think something I will say it, not someone else talks publicly for me.
Yep 8pm GF is shit.

A massive one for me, over promising and under delivering! I can understand that some things are out of our control, but where money is concerned, it’s a whole other issue.

Yep, gf needs to go back to the arvo.

.. and yep, that’s why it’s important to not over sell the service and then exceed the expectations if you can.

I think I'm over the forum already this off season.

Most of the people here are fun. But I've got a habit of reading a thread I found interesting from the point where I jumped off last. Sometimes it's 3 posts, other times it's 15 pages.

So when it's a 15 pages since I looked in occasion, it's typically a small handful of people arguing the same points back and forth that've carried it for 24 pages.

Other threads I've looked at are now showing signs of people trying to dig back to page 5 of a 200 page thread for areas that people were wrong about something that they can use to tell them "look, you were wrong about something in 2015" of that they've changed their mind.

It's got me at the point where I'm acting a bit grouchy myself. It's probably time for me to take a break.

I agree mate. I'm usually full-on busy most of the working week and don't have time or inkling to read every post in the main bulldog forum, let alone the 120+ page ones. Life's too short to spend time arguing on the internet, let alone just reading other peeps arguments. Best just to get some time back in your day and do something that makes you happy.

The few I've got left at this point in life are as unbreakable as a Hilux. If I kill anymore I'll have to stop wearing shoelaces and buy shoes with Velcro straps.
Velcro straps on shoes are like montages in a 80's movie, they are awesome!

People parking in car spots clearly marked disabled parking when they don’t have a parking permit displayed.

Lazy people leaving supermarket trolleys in vacant car parking spots, instead of putting them in the trolley bays provided.
Gift cards! I don't know if I'm more annoyed with the well-meaning people who buy and give them away, or the greedy sods who sell them. If you buy a (say) $50 gift card from Bunnings, you pay $50 for it, and you are then committing yourself or the person you give it to, to shopping at Bunnings. Your original $50 could have been spent anywhere you like, and so you are accepting a voluntary restriction on your spending without getting anything back in exchange. A $50 card should cost $40 or $35 or $30.

It gets worse with Credit card gift cards. I did a job for a friend, and she wanted to pay me but I wouldn't accept a payment from her. She then went out and bought a $100 one-time credit card to give to me, and it cost her $105.99.

You see the point of gift cards (as opposed to cash) is that you are giving them to someone so the buy something for themselves and not use them on things like bills - it's for them to enjoy themselves a little. If you have a problem with the business that they purchased the gift cards from just give it to someone else.

As for the $105.99 charge for a $100 card, I agree with you, it's disgraceful, but that extra charge is for the fees associated with the card like printing the card itself, the cardboard, all the little charges. Myer did this then stopped it a few years ago so now a $100 gift card only costs the buyer $100.

Bathurst 1000 was good, shame about the propaganda sneaking into public sporting events, they wonder why people capitulate.
Hope they get a couple more brands in the mix, bring back the GTR Skyline's and see how they go.

The GTR will kill anything they put against it.

Everyone wanks over Lambos and Ferrari's but give me a Nismo R35 Godzilla GTR and I'll embarrass them.
