If it already hasn't been mentioned there is a great book called "Ice Man" which is the story of mafia hitman Richard Kuklinski (sp). Farkin great book and its pretty gory.

Also another great book is called "Marching Powder". Its about a guy who gets sent to Prison in La Paz, Bolivia (I had a look at this jail) and how it all goes down inside. Tourists got guided tours etc by bribing officials. While I was there the screws went on strike as they stop letting tourists in so they couldn't get any bribes.

I also mainly read Autobiographies or Crime/Gang books. Someone mentioned Scar Tissue by Anthony Kiedis. Thats a top book.

Unsure if i posted this before but,

Marching Powder.

Unsure of Author but it is the best book i have ever read.

I should have looked through the thread.

Think it was an Aussie guy named Ricky or something like that..

Great story. I was shattered that we couldn't get into the prison. I was in La Paz, Bolivia in October 2006.

I havent read Nightbreed yet. It might be the next one i go for. Ive only got the dvd movie of it.
