Avo has found something but isnt being used properly, not enough ball.

Averillo very good in open space.

Not so good with the hard carries, kick returns straight into defensive line. Frequently gets manhandled and driven backwards.

Also, he wouldn't know how to defend at centre if his life depended on it.
The most sensible comment to date.

Gus has obviously got a lot of faith in Xerri, and Skelton and Wilson look good for FG to me. It's easy to understand why their getting a chance to test their worth, but I can't see us losing both. Hopefully not anyway cause both have got a lot of improvement in them IMO.

This situation isn't all that surprising i am pretty confident in Xerri myself..plus I doubt he will be missing tackles for fun and definitely not by getting burnt for pace.

3. Crichton
4. Xerri
5. Kiraz

Backups: Wilson, Perham, Skelton, Alamoti, maybe Burns.

One is a fast try scoring machine that finds the line with a little bit of sniff through the backside with some tackle issues and the other is a piece of shit that literally adds nothing to a side. Bad stats, also tackle issues, slug, disloyal, just an idiot.

Between the two it is such a no brainer.

Alamoti has all those faults too without the electricity.

Alomati does much better on the hit ups - runs a lot harder and with less self preservation interest than Averillo - but Alomati gets beaten around a bit because despite being solid and strong, he's not that big.

Alomati definitely doesn't have Averillo's electricity - you are spot on about that

A lot of people on here have talked about Alomati transitioning to lock or SR - I have my doubts about that due to his above-mentioned lack of size though I could be wrong.

Flow on from signing Crighton and to a lesser extent xerri.
Crighton will be another mind boggling decision when he puts on our jersey.Cant see what this guy will bring to elevate our attack .He has zero x factor for a fullback.Yes he is a supreme athelete and solid centre but thats all folks.
Shame its come to this and even with gus our recruitment isnt that great.

Knoconmore needs to given the arse also, fucked if I know how anyone thinks he's earned a contract extension, let another club suffer his lazyness and inept tackling.

Criticism of Burton is a bit delusional. But there's aspects of his game he needs to improve on.
His kicking game is sensational. But it's not being used correctly. He waits in the centre position so he can punt the ball.
There's more to the game than that.
He needs to get more involved in the game.
He seems to have forgotten his running game.
