Let’s be honest. We have won 7 games this year, but we could very easily have only won 1 or 2 and be dead last.
Beat Tigers by 4 points, 4 tries each.
Beat cows by 1 point, a last second JAC try to level up.
Beat Dragons by 2 points, 3 tries each.
Beat Titans by 2 points, having trailed 18-0 and scoring 2 tries directly off Burton Bombs, and Okunbor last minute try after a few deflected passes.
Beat South’s by 4 points, they missed 10 players due to origin/injury. Almost lost that game.
Beat Dolphins by 1 point, Isaako Missed conversion otherwise they would’ve won.

A win is a win ... happy to take a win whenever we can. Yes, you could do an exercise looking at what the table might have looked like where all close wins for all teams, say 4pts or less, went the other way but would just be an interesting bit of triva and no more .....

agree to an extent, but you cant use the tigers game and titans game as mutual examples as our position in both those game were different. I would consider the Tigers an easy win and they were lucky to get close to us, Titans game we should have lost.

I hate this argument. A win is a win. By that same logic do we get to count unlucky/close losses or games where we had someone binned/injured/rorted by refs as wins too?

Yes we've been shit this season and there are a lot of problems that need addressing but I hate the argument of trying to diminish wins. We've not made the finals the last seven years. We're not in a position to complain about the games we won.

What about all the games we lost but could've one? If you did one way to might as well do the other.

Also I remember in 2006, Melbourne Storm won most of their games by small margins as they were focusing on defense.

It's not all one-way traffic like you're making it seem mate.

Regardless of what the table says we are the worse team in the comp or at least on par with the tigers .. pains me to say that .

What’s even more painful is that certain players could of perhaps changed that for us fans instead of crapping the bed.
