Actually thought Kabak did extremely well that second half. Looked good but we'll see how he goes against Everton.

Thought Thiago was great today btw. Was really impressed by him defensively. Jones too. Brilliant.

Nowhere near MOTM.
He did much better than the Leicester game but he looks on the slow side and his body position at times when defends is wrong ( facing his own goal ) . The 2nd goal with Leicester he was facing the wrong way for example.

I think in the first half you're right about body position etc as a few times he was a little caught out. But it was Hendo that let them the wrong sure if him twice which lead to two very good chances for them
He wasn't mom, not sure what they saw to give him that, but second half especially I don't think he did anything wrong. Constantly won the ball. Distribution was good. Thought he did really well actually.
I think Jones was one of the best. Gininwas good. Personally when Thiago was on he was on a different league to most.
Let's not get carried away this as they still had their chances to get back into the game. It's a win. We move on

Most teams will want to avoid playing us regardless of our weakened state . We go pretty well when it comes to 2 legged knock out games.

Keita back next match, hopefully Jota and Fabinho following week..then the rest. No more injuries and we may be able to build some momentum.

If we can stay injury free ... At least relatively ... Until the end of the year then I think we should be comfortable in the top 4 but who knows.
As for the CL. It depends a lot of injuries. With Jota, Fab and possibly Keita starting regularly plus Kabak hopefully continue to improve it's an outside possibility to go well.
But RB had enough chances in that game for it to have had a different outcome. We should've put them to bed earlier, and our forwards do need to step it up a gear. Our form really depends on them taking up a few levels but Jotas return should help that?

Honestly can see us not buying another CB either and just taking on Kabak permantely. We're not going to be able to shift Matip considering he'll be returning from injury. We won't sell Gomez.

Nobody expected him to screw up with the ball at his feet like he did , but shit happens.
De Gea on the other hand has numerous fuck ups in his game, from poor positioning , poor handling, poor saves etc etc. And he rotates his shortcomings sporadically.
I’m happy we have Alison and you have DeGea. Alison has atleast helped us win a CL and PL title with his perfomances....DeGea on the other hand?
