Outstanding performance from Josh Jackson tonight. Man of the match in a losing side and deservedly so, he was in everything. In my opinion he is the best 2nd row/lock forward in the game right now.

We slackened off in second but tonight's ref performance was the most disgraceful I've seen in a SOO.
Forward passes, players getting tackled off the ball, try's after stepping on touch line.... fucking pathetic, the need to be stood down. Touch judges most well be fucked off from today's game. They do fucking nothing.... they wonder why people think the games rigged...

The move to lock allowed him to get so much more involved in attack. I hope Hasler took notice of this. As usual his defense was top notch. I switched off after seeing the shit NSW dished up on the last play. He was will deserving of the man of the match award though.

Defensively there aren't many better players than him. His tackling technique is first class.

Sorry to go off topic but refs can win or lose games. Some of them dud calls were critical and were that fucked that they did decide the game.

Yes the refs were bad and didn't help. Still nsw should have closed the game out.

Josh Jackson had a strong game during his 44 minutes in origin, but there was absolutely no way he was player of the match. He carried the ball for only 67 metres !! It had to go to a QLD player. As much as I despise McGuire, he was the best forward on show. Gagai was also sensational.

Lol no. Was very good last night, but has performed no where near that level at club footy for a while.

Don't be too harsh on Hayne. He scored a try, made plenty of great one on one tackles and had he not made a couple of mistakes in the second half I think would've been the MOTM. Look at the colour of his jersey. He was up to his armpits in everything last night. Just took a couple of dumb options when we didn't need to, but he probably saved 3 tries as well.
