Leaves us with only Gibbs as LB and who knows how many games he will play given his run of injuries. Just leaves Sagna and Jenkinson as our other two fullbacks... Not very convincing...

There was pressure from a few groups for the club to do so. Had a hash-tag #refundtheawayfans going around on Twitter too.

Eljero Elia favouring a move to England with Arsenal interested, as for Cahill were expected to make a bid of 12mil + 3mil bonuses based on appearances, which should be enough to get him.

Should have but with noone else going for him, Wenger was reluctant to pay 17mil for him (and rightly so).
